Seoul Land is an ongoing journal in the form of a 360° VR experience that assumes Seoul, Korea to be an imaginary place. Wearing the Oculus headset, the audience travels through all-consuming, frenzied spaces of Seoul side by side with the artist, becoming accomplices to the artist’s subjective narrative logic and compulsive rearranging of time as she navigates the contradictory landscape. Seoul Land physicalizes the faulty process of remembering and teases out layers of being and performing within Korean consicousness.
